For me, photography balances out my job, and I take a camera into the mountains because I want to bring back something to share. I grew up with the idea that worthy trips, adventures, and events need photos.
The idea and process of Create → Share → Sustain has been important for me. The process of photography, and simply taking time to do small, meaningful personal projects provides a way to engage the right-brain and find a creatively positive outlet from engineering design.
